Jonathon Fenton, the manager of Digs, a Calgary furniture store, has decided to pull a rocking chair with a knot bearing the image of Jesus off the Internet auction site EBay.

Fenton decided to keep the item after receiving just one bid of $5000 for the chair, which retails for $650.

"Unless we get more, we'd rather keep it in the store. It's kinda cool to have it as our special mascot," the CP quoted Fenton as saying.

The chair receive about 17,000 hits while on EBay.

Recently, a grilled-cheese sandwich bearing the image of the Virgin Mary, sold for $28,000 on the auction site.
