Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt Have officially announced that they are separating. The announcemnt, released by Brad Pitt's publicist ended months of speculation of escalating tension in the marriage.

Various tabloids have been conjecturing recently that the "golden couple" were having marital troubles but during the statement Pitt's publicist quoted, "For those who follow these sorts of things, we would like to explain that our separation is not the result of any speculation reported by the tabloid media."
