Tory Government Squeezed Over Sunday Shopping Issue?

A live mole reports the Sunday shopping debate in Nova Scotia has taken an unexpected twist.

According to the source, the head of a well known home-grown business empire has reportedly issued Premier Hamm and a number of Cabinet ministers a strongly worded letter basically saying to open the province up to Sunday shopping, or close down the loophole types that flaunt the law (Pete's, Shoppers Drug Mart food stores, private liquor & beer stores, etc etc.).

Our source tells us that if this issue isn't resolved - the province may be forced to defend it's Sunday shopping legislation in a court of law.

This bombshell news comes on the heels of the PC Party leadership race. Up until now, the Sunday shopping issue has not been a factor in the three-horse race, but if our source is correct, it might become a major factor. An unwanted factor, that is.
