Dacey Rink Wins Canadian Men's Curling Championship

In an unbelievable Brier final, Mark Dacey and his Nova Scotia rink came back from a four point deficit in the 8th end to defeat Randy Ferbey's Alberta rink and lay claim to the top prize in Canadian curling, the Nokia Brier championship.

The game came down to Dacey's final stone with a draw to the four-foot to for the win, and the championship. Trailing by 2 in the 10th, Dacey was able to draw to the button and score 3, resulting in a 10 - 9 victory for the rink from the Mayflower curling club out of Halifax, Nova Scotia

Dacey ended Ferbey's hope to set a Canadian men's curling record of four straight victories in four years.

This was the second showdown between Ferbey and Dacey in as many years. In the 2003 final, Ferbey defeated Dacey to win his third consecutive championship title.
