NEWS 95.7 LOSES CREDIBILITY AND THAT’S KRYSTAL CLEAR
Columnist - Alex J Walling
Written by Alex J. Walling
Wednesday, 16 May 2007
WallingHRM’S all-news and talk radio station, 95.7 took a big hit in the credibility department on Wednesday May 16.

It seems that 95.7 will give you the news, the breaking news, and Team coverage of news, as long as it doesn’t involve one of their own staff.

As I see it, if you live by the sword then you die by it. CJNI Radio, known as News95.7 in Metro does news. They do tons of news, and do it well. They start at 5:30 in the morning and deliver tons of news for most of the day. They have several key news wheels (5:30-9:00am and 3:30-7pm.)

ALSO: Did you know Global TV launched a news package at 11pm? A. J. Walling has something to say about it!

Walling This is the third attempt at a SEASIDE-FM fundraiser. I hope this one will work.

Halifax Would Have Won 2014 Games On First Ballot
Blogging Editor
Written by Ty Wonon
Friday, 11 May 2007

Yes, it's true, Halifax would have been in the World Class club. This news just makes Halifax look like the city of fools the Beatles sang about all those years ago. From The Herald in Scotland, the stunning truth.

Forget the 2014 Commonwealth Games bid by Glasgow and Abuja - Halifax would have won outright on the first vote. That astonishing claim was made yesterday by a member of the executive board of the Commonwealth Games Federation at their meeting in London.

In one case, it will be a court decision and in another case it will be the result of a court decision. I'm not going to get into the entire issue concerning Krystal's home life, you can do that by picking up a copy of Frank mag, issue ?????.

Here's the deal. No, I'm not talking about low prices. I'm talking about the false wall at Wal-Mart's newest location in Bedford. Here's the scoop. No, I'm not talking about poop.

A well placed source tells Halifax Live that the new Wal-Mart in Bedford will soon be expanding. That's right, expanding. No, I'm not talking about their waistline. Well, maybe I am... You're probably asking yourself why would a store that just opened last month be expanding?

LET’S HEAR IT FOR THE PAUL’S (Kennedy & Meagher)
Columnist - Alex J Walling
Written by Alex J Walling
Sunday, 22 April 2007

AJ WallingRemember the 80’s tune by Denise Williams called ‘Let’s Hear it for the Boys’, well this year's version, should one be recorded today, could be called, ‘Let’s hear it for the Paul’s as in Paul Kennedy and Paul Meagher, who volunteer their time and efforts for a community radio station.

More about them in a minute but first.

I do one hell of a lot of radio listening.  Like the McGuire Sisters song, “radio in the morning, radio in the evening and radio at supper time” I seem to have my radio on be it the car, office or home, most of the day, the local community radio station, Seaside-FM.
