Despite denials, and a call for subscribers to unsubscribe from AllNovaScotia.com, Andrew Krystal is leaving News 95.7 Halifax, for The Fan 590 in Toronto. On Friday, AllNovaScotia.com reported Krystal was leaving the Halifax radio station for Toronto. The subscription access business news website indicated Krystal had been telling some local politicians about his move back to Toronto. However, the popular website also reported Krystal didn't tell his co-workers. They had only heard about his move from second-hand sources. When Krystal took to the air on Friday morning, he was obviously upset with the All NS report. So much so that he told his listeners not to believe it. He also encouraged subscribers to unsubscribe, a call for a boycott if you will. |

What's up with News 95.7 listen show host Andrew Krystal?
His attacks on Premier Darrell Dexter have been a daily occurrence, up until recently. Which begs the question, why has Andrew Krystal not mentioned Darrell Dexter's name for 3 full listen show broadcasts?
Krystal's dull blade may be associated with comments he made on his show last Wednesday. During that listen show, Krystal told his audience that he did not believe Dexter when the premier said an expense claim made for his wife's drive was a mistake. He went on to say the people of Nova Scotia don't believe him.
Krystal promised his audience that he would continue with more Dexter expense discussion Thursday morning. He never did, and hasn't since |

A must read brought to you by Parker Donham. He wonders what Liberal Leader Stephen McNeil is hiding?
Here's a tad, but check out his post for the scoop.
Well this is disturbing. In defending his decision to keep the names of private donors to his campaign secret until after election day, Liberal Leader Stephen McNeil cited privacy concerns. Since provincial law requires the names and addresses of all donors, and the amounts of their donations, to be disclosed and published annually by Elections Nova Scotia, this looked like a feeble excuse to avoid drawing pre-election attention to any embarrassing donors on the Liberal list. |

In a bizarre about-face amid the hugely unpopular government-funded all terrain vehicle (ATV) safety program debacle, Nova Scotia Premier Rodney MacDonald today is not only lashing out at the Health Department for their purchase of over a quarter of a million dollars worth of mini-ATVs, he is now demanding that the $230,000 in question be returned to government coffers.
