What's up with News 95.7 listen show host Andrew Krystal?
His attacks on Premier Darrell Dexter have been a daily occurrence, up until recently. Which begs the question, why has Andrew Krystal not mentioned Darrell Dexter's name for 3 full listen show broadcasts?
Krystal's dull blade may be associated with comments he made on his show last Wednesday. During that listen show, Krystal told his audience that he did not believe Dexter when the premier said an expense claim made for his wife's drive was a mistake. He went on to say the people of Nova Scotia don't believe him.
Krystal promised his audience that he would continue with more Dexter expense discussion Thursday morning. He never did, and hasn't since
Dexter claimed mileage for a round-trip drive last summer, though he took a flight back and his wife drove back to Nova Scotia alone.
He had driven to a conference in Burlington, Vt., with his wife on July 31 but then took a taxi to Montreal for a flight to the Council of the Federation meeting in Regina.
His wife drove alone back to Halifax instead of accompanying him to Regina, but he claimed her mileage anyway.
"It's unusual, of course, that somebody travels one way and then travels another way back, so that's why that got done," said Dexter.
"But I want the member to know that the $485.72 cents, which is the difference, I will ensure is repaid this evening so that there can be no mistake about it. I want to thank the leader of the Opposition for bringing that to my attention."
