Councillor Claims Property Owner Ignoring HRM Clean-Up Order |

Dartmouth Councillor Jim Smith says its evident already that the new owners of the former Little Nashville cabaret in Dartmouth, who intend to open an adult entertainment club at that location, will not be good neighbours.
Councillor Smith says that HRM posted a seven-day Order to Remedy on the property at 169 Wyse Road on December 8, requiring the property owner to clean-up refuse and debris at the site.
He said the deadline has passed and the property owner, Javis Roberts, has ignored the municipal order. In addition, area residents claim that someone from the building took down the notice shortly after it was posted
“There has been a large pile of construction debris piled up outside the back of the building since November. The fact he (Mr. Roberts) isn’t willing to keep his property clean and in good order is a sure sign of things to come, says Councillor Smith.
Councillor Smith and area residents are strongly opposed to an adult entertainment club opening and operating at 169 Wyse Road, which is largely surrounded by residential neighbourhoods.
