Career Website Highlights Nova Scotia Occupations Print E-mail
Written by NS Government

If you're looking for information on job opportunities in Nova Scotia, estimated salaries and training paths, there's a website for you.

Information for more than 300 occupations is now available on the Department of Education Career Options website at www.careeroptions.ednet.ns.ca .

Education Minister Jamie Muir says the site is designed to provide Nova Scotians with as much information as possible about opportunities in the province when they make career decisions.

The site targets youths, adults and career coaches, a category that includes teachers, parents and guidance professionals.

Visitors to the site can search by occupation category, specific job titles or by keyword. They can also take quizzes to explore their abilities, interests and work values, and can find links to career-related and job search websites.
