Sears Canada has been advised by Hasbro Canada of a potential hazard relating to the Chicken Limbo Electronic Party Game. It has been discovered that the game's two side poles may not fit into their bases properly, making the game unstable. This can potentially cause the game to fall apart if touched, hitting children playing the game, as well as bystanders.
The Chicken Limbo Electronic Party Game was sold through the Sears Canada catalogue between September 2005 and February 2006 for $29.99. The model number is 42326 with a Sears item number 92201. Hasbro Canada, a division of Milton Bradley, has received 46 reports of the Chicken Limbo party game collapsing unexpectedly. This includes 23 reports in the U.S.A. of bumps, bruises, welts and red marks, two reports of cuts, one chipped tooth and one fractured foot and one report of bruises in Canada.
In the interest of customer safety, Sears Canada urges customers who continue to own the affected Chicken Limbo Electronic Party Game to stop young children immediately from using the game and contact Milton Bradley at 1-800-327-8264, or go to www.miltonbradley.com for a free repair kit. Catalogue customers will be contacted by mail. |
