Police Dismantle International Ecstasy & Marihuana Trafficking Rings, Eleven Canadians Charged |

Police on Tuesday simultaneously searched several locations in Markham, Ontario & Montreal, Quebec and arrested numerous persons in connection with a seven month International investigation which included Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit (Toronto), FBI (Atlantic City), Surete Du Quebec, RCMP Drug Section (Montreal), Montreal City Police, Ontario Provincial Police (Huronia Drugs), Barrie City Police.
This international investigation began with both the FBI of Atlantic City and the Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit (CFSEU) situated in Toronto, Ontario.
A large quantity of ecstasy tablets were seized in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and it was later determined that the ecstasy tablets originated in Canada. As the investigation progressed, a number of individuals were
identified and numerous drug-related conspiracies were discovered.
Eleven people have been arrested in Ontario & Quebec during the investigation on charges ranging from Conspiracy, Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Produce a Controlled
Substance, Exporting a Controlled Substance and several firearms offences.
"These types of investigations benefit the communities on both sides of the border by taking drugs off our streets," stated RCMP Superintendent Don Panchuk, Officer in Charge of CFSEU.
Arrested and charged are:
-QUACH, Truong-Hung (M) age 50, Montreal, Quebec
-DUONG, Van-Dang (M) age 45, Toronto, Ontario
-TRUONG, Duc-Minh (M) age 40, Markham, Ontario
-JIANG, Jean Shu-Jing (F) age 44, Toronto, Ontario
-PHONG, Chan Nhit, age 37, Markham, Ontario
-WU, Amy wai-yin, age 43, Markham, Ontario
-DANG Ngan Thi (F), age 51, Brampton, Ontario (arrested 3 Dec 2005)
-NDREKA, Francesk (M) age 29, Toronto, Ontario (arrested 5 December 2005)
-BECI, Gezim (M) age 34, Toronto, Ontario (arrested 5 December 2005)
-SHLLAKU, Mikler (M) age 28, Markham, Ontario (arrested 5 December 2005)
-LY, Buu Quoc(M) age 54, Barrie, Ontario (arrested 6 March 2006)
Warrants are outstanding for:
-FAN, Gui Qiang (M) age 43, Markham, Ontario
-SAVEJVONG, Bobby King-Prachanh (M) age 33, Montreal, Quebec
