The province has had enough, and has fired the entire Halifax Regional School Board. The dysfunctional board has been in the news for more than a year for its inability to function properly.
Some elected members are said to be furious over the decision.
Nova Scotia's Education Minister Karen Casey fired the entire board this afternoon due to infighting and constant squabbling.
Former bureaucrat Howard Windsor has been appointed by the Education Minister to take over the duties of the board. |
