Macaulay Culkin, the former child star was
arrested in Oklahoma City on drug charges during a traffic
stop, according to a statement by authorities on Friday.
Culkin, 24, best known as "Kevin"
in the "Home Alone" movies was arrested on suspicion
of possessing marijuana and a controlled substance, according
to the Oklahoma County Sheriff's office.
He was released after posting $4,000 bond
on Friday night.
Culkin, was a passenger in the car at the
time of his arrest. Officers confiscated just over 17 grams
of marijuana from the vehicle, as well as prescription drugs
he allegedly obtained without a doctor's prescription, according
to authorities.
The car was stopped for exceeding the posted
speed limit of 60 mph by 10 mph. The drugs were found after
the 22 year old driver allowed police to search the vehicle.
Macaulay Culkin is a close friend of Michael
Jackson and godfather of his first son and his daughter.
