A landmark hotel in New York is now serving a cocktail for people with rich taste buds. The $10,000 martini at the Algonquin hotel comes with vodka, vermouth, olives and a diamond.
The general manager of the hotel indicated the first glass has yet to be sold and if you want one, you have to place your order three days in advance.
The hotel's general manager, Anthony Melchiorri, hopes the martini will catch on with wealthy suitors looking for a unique marriage proposal.
Melchiorri says the hotel is prepared if someone swallows a stone, however, patrons are more likely to choke when they see their bill.
