Nigerian E-mail Scam - The soap opera

Dear John Asphalt,

Thanks a million times for your urgent response to my mail. I have concluded plans on how the transaction will go and it will not be taking us more than 10-14 working days to conclude. The only thing required to make the business move forward to an urgent conclusion is your maximum corporation. I will be required from you immediately the following information to enable us have the transaction started immediately. 1. Your complete name and address, as they should appear in all documents. 2. Your private telephone and fax numbers for easy communication. 3. Any bank account number of your choice where the fund will be transferred into. 4. The bank's name, address, phone, fax and telex numbers as well as their swift code (if any).

As soon as I get the above required information from you I will be contracting a lawyer who will secure all necessary documents from the court. Note that all documents secured will be sent to you by any of the courier companies.

I am waiting for your urgent response as time is no more on our side to waste because delay is dangerous.

Regards, Dr. Onyii Usman.

As you can see, the good Doctor wants my bank account information so he can empty my account. I'm not quite ready to give that up as yet, so I'll send him another letter explaining my situation.
Dr. Onyii

Thank you for choosing me to carry out this very important task. I have informed my family that we will soon be able to afford the necessary treatment to cure our Grandmother of the heavy metal contamination she obtained from close contact with the Big Harbour water. Doctors have confirmed to us that the disease she has "Haliaxious Harbosis" is curable, but the treatment will cost in excess of $60,000.00, we currently have $8,295.00 in an account for her treatment. You have given us hope that our work can be completed in the next couple of weeks.

I'm in Big Harbour, Canada. The account is not in my name, it is in my Grandmother's second husbands name, Theodore H. Tug. I need your guidance on this, I have to know if I can contact him and let him know that I have found a way to raise the money for the treatment. You should also know that he trusts me with all financial matters associated with my Grandmother.

I will have to obtain all the information you require to move forward, but I need to include my step Grandfather in this, he is a frail 83 years of age, and can be trusted. I don't want to miss this opportunity, please send me guidance on this ASAP.

John Asphalt
